What size is a US passport photo?
2 x 2 inches (51 x 51 mm). For digital use it is 600x600 to 1200x1200 pixels. The head must be 1 to 1 3/8 inches from chin to top of head.
Can I print the 4x6 sheet at CVS, Walgreens or Walmart?
Yes. Download the 4x6 sheet and order a standard 4x6 photo print, then cut along the guide lines to get six 2x2 photos.
Will my photo be accepted?
We size your photo to the published specification, but we cannot guarantee acceptance. The State Department decides. Follow the requirements on lighting, expression and background.
